Front-End Engineer – Accessibility Specialist | CrowdStrike (Remote | $110K–$180K)

Join CrowdStrike to make the cybersecurity landscape more inclusive. As a front-end accessibility expert, you'll ensure UI components meet WCAG 2.2 and ARIA 1.2 standards while shaping the next-gen UI framework for a leading AI-native security platform.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure accessibility compliance across UI components (semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, color contrast, etc.)
• Conduct audits with tools like aXe, Google Lighthouse, and screen readers (VoiceOver, JAWS/NVDA)
• Collaborate across design, engineering, and QA teams to create usable, inclusive digital experiences
• Maintain documentation, triage accessibility issues, and champion usability in product development
• Contribute to scalable, accessible UI frameworks using React, Vue, Ember, Lit, or similar

What You’ll Need

• Strong grasp of WCAG 2.2, ARIA 1.2, and accessibility testing tools
• Expertise in semantic HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and responsive UI development
• Experience building accessible design systems or component libraries
• Familiarity with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and passion for inclusive, user-first development

Bonus Points

• IAAP certifications (CPACC, WAS, CPWA)
• Experience integrating aXe into CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on user testing with people with disabilities
• Section 508, ADA, or EAA compliance experience
