Job Description

Amazon’s Chronicle team seeks a Senior UX Designer to lead end-to-end design efforts across product lifecycles. You’ll drive user-centered solutions from concept through delivery, working with product and engineering to craft innovative experiences for internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of software experiences across interaction models, flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver solutions that meet measurable business goals.
• Create user-centered designs using customer feedback, research, and usability findings.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders, including leadership, and iterate based on feedback.
• Design for complex systems and workflows with a focus on usability and scalability.
• Extend and contribute to an established design system with new interaction patterns.
• Maintain design documentation including UI specs and visual assets.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of UX or product design experience.
• Online portfolio demonstrating design thinking and problem-solving.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for complex workflows or enterprise tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a design context.
• Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated impact in fast-paced, iterative environments.
