Salary: $200,000 – $250,000 annually + sign-on and performance bonuses

About the Role:

Join HRT’s hardware team to develop high-performance FPGA and ASIC designs that power low latency trading systems. You will work closely with a global, cross-functional team to architect complex hardware solutions, including on-the-fly market data transformations and implementing models in RTL. This role demands deep expertise in SystemVerilog, FPGA/ASIC architecture, and hardware debugging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy custom FPGA/ASIC solutions for trading applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams
• Explore and integrate new technologies and tools
• Contribute to hardware development workflows and toolchains

Qualifications:

• 2+ years professional RTL design experience for FPGA or ASIC
• Expert-level SystemVerilog skills and deep understanding of FPGA/ASIC internals
• Strong hardware design, optimization, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities
• Familiarity with network protocols, processing pipelines, or machine learning accelerators
• Working knowledge of Python and/or C++
• Comfortable with Linux environments
• Strong verification experience
• Experience with AMD Vivado is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
