Your Role and Responsibilities:

Join the team behind IBM’s Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) suite, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality product releases through manual and automated testing, collaborating across development and QA to identify and resolve issues early.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update manual test cases and test documentation based on product requirements and functional specs.
• Implement automated test cases using Java, Playwright, and SoapUI within the existing test framework.
• Conduct thorough API testing and automation to validate application interfaces.
• Deploy and configure test environments; analyze logs and errors in Linux/Unix environments.
• Identify, document, and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Report test status and risks to the Test Lead/Test Manager.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift for containerized testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• At least 2 years of experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Solid background in Software QA methodologies and practices.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Playwright for automation
• Python scripting
• API testing/automation
• Linux/Unix systems
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and knowledge sharing.
• Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid model based in Kraków.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Experience in banking or financial services testing.
• Knowledge of additional automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and test environment automation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with clarity in complex environments.
• Adaptability to dynamic product and business requirements.

Preferred Education:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
