Job Description:

GoDaddy is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Site Engineering Team. This team is responsible for developing scalable and robust engineering solutions that drive GoDaddy’s customer-facing purchase experience platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
• Develop secure, scalable, and globally available code deployed on AWS cloud.
• Testing & Maintenance:
• Implement, test, and maintain client-side and server-side platforms with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Code Quality:
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Ensure high code quality through extensive unit and integration testing.
• Problem Solving:
• Investigate and resolve production issues while ensuring that DevOps on-call responsibilities are met.
• Mentorship & Documentation:
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and mentor junior developers.
• Keep Up with Trends:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends and share insights with the team.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Software Engineering Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically building front-end solutions.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, React, Redux, Next.js, and Webpack.
• API Development:
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Cloud Computing:
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies and cloud computing services.
• Testing Frameworks:
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Cypress.
• CI/CD & DevOps:
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and other DevOps tools.
• Version Control:
• Proficient with Git for version control.
• Agile Methodologies:
• Experience working in agile teams and deploying code using Git-based workflows and CI/CD technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree:
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
