Sales Operations Analyst

Location: Ottawa, ON

The Opportunity:

As a Sales Operations Analyst, your work will significantly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation processes. You will manage compensation elements, align plans with role matrices, and ensure accurate quota management. By overseeing compensation plan components and performing meticulous administrative checks, you'll ensure that Adobe's compensation structures are fair, motivating, and transparent.


What You’ll Do:

  • Management of Compensation Elements: Assign compensation plans, align them with role matrices, and manage rep quotas.
  • Compensation Plan Expert: Understand various compensation plans, including commission rates, SPIFFs, transactional crediting, measure types, etc.
  • Incentive and Commission Calculations: Ensure systems and data setups accurately calculate incentives and commission payments.
  • Administrative Checks: Perform checks to maintain the quality and completeness of compensation information and setup.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with Sales Operations and Finance teams, ensuring high-quality communication. Help resolve issues related to tools and systems. Provide mentorship and answer questions from the technical support team.


What You Need to Succeed:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or technology, preferably with coursework in data management and information systems.
  • Experience: Experience in a technology firm, working with compensation tools and supporting end-user workflows.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with tools like MS SQL, PowerBI, PowerApps, Flow, Excel, and Anaplan is a plus.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to operate independently, clear obstacles, and take a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team and act as a subject matter expert to meet ambitious goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
  • Attention to Detail: Balancing attention to detail while distilling complex issues into essentials.
  • Positive Attitude: A high energy, positive outlook, with a sense of humor to adapt to changing business needs.
