Role Overview

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be a pivotal contributor to the algorithmic trading UI ecosystem, designing modern, performant interfaces that provide real-time insights, fast interaction, and intuitive control over trading systems. This role is frontend-focused, with exposure to backend and API design.

You’ll work closely with traders, researchers, and backend engineers, taking high-level product ideas and turning them into production-grade tools that drive daily trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern UIs for real-time, automated trading systems.
• Deliver full-cycle development: requirements gathering, prototyping, implementation, and support.
• Partner directly with traders to surface actionable information and streamline workflows.
• Ensure consistency and UX quality across all trading applications.
• Optimize for speed, performance, and reliability in the Chrome browser.
• Build systems that minimize user error in a high-stakes trading environment.
• Provide on-call production support when necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves

• 5+ years in web development with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
• Experience with React, TypeScript, WebSockets, or similar frameworks (Vue, Knockout, etc.)
• 3+ years in UX design with a focus on usability and performance
• Strong experience in unit testing and UI acceptance testing
• Comfortable on Linux, command-line tools, and browser profiling
• Experience building high availability frontend systems

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with trading systems or financial applications
• Backend development experience (e.g., API integration)
• Exposure to DevOps, system administration, or WASM
• Familiarity with optimizing web apps for Chrome

Compensation & Benefits

💵 Base Salary: $175,000 – $225,000, commensurate with experience
