About the Role:

GoDaddy is seeking a Senior Software Developer - Java to lead the development of Data & Machine Learning (ML) services. This role will focus on designing scalable, secure, and high-performance ML infrastructure, including Generative AI and large language model hosting services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, cloud computing (AWS), and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop ML services, including large language model hosting.
• Build highly available, scalable, and secure microservices-based solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers on building secure and reliable services.
• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum team to deliver high-impact projects.
• Participate in DevOps, release, and on-call activities to support production code.
• Monitor and optimize engineering and operational metrics to improve performance.
• Mentor team members, promote best practices, and provide technical training.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in developing and deploying production software.
• Expertise in Java or Python and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., CloudFormation).
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Bonus Skills:

• B.Tech in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, Rancher) for AI/ML deployment.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, Langchain, and Transformer models.
• Understanding of IAM policies, A/B testing platforms, and operationalizing ML models.
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
