Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)

🔹 Primary Responsibilities
This BDR role is a mix of lead generation, sales qualification, and strategic alignment — bridging the Sales and Success teams to help Canva expand in the U.S. B2B space.
🌟 Key Duties:
- Pipeline Development:
- Drive new business by researching, identifying, and engaging prospects via cold outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, campaigns).
- Discovery & Qualification:
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer needs, pain points, and strategic goals before handing over to Canva Consultants.
- Cross-functional Work:
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment on lead quality and outreach strategy.
- Sales Enablement Tools:
- Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Gong, Pocus, etc., to track interactions, monitor pipeline health, and optimize sales strategy.
- Performance Metrics:
- Consistently meet weekly/monthly quotas for qualified opportunities, outreach activities, and conversion rates.

- Experience using Salesforce and tools like Gong, Outreach, or ZoomInfo

- Understanding of sales strategy, discovery processes, and customer engagement
