🌐 About the Team (ITA)

The ITA team at Amazon is reinventing how the company hires talent using data science, automation, and AI. They support high-volume hiring (millions of candidates annually) with data-driven, fair, and scalable systems, impacting core operations like delivery, fulfillment, and Prime services.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable data pipelines on AWS
• Build ETL processes and data infrastructure to support analytics and reporting
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights through modeling and integration
• Maintain data system documentation, ensure data integrity, and support system availability
• Leverage big data tools and cloud services for automation and performance optimization

✅ Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of data engineering experience
• Solid experience with:
• SQL and one or more query languages (PL/SQL, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala, etc.)
• Scripting (Python, KornShell, etc.)
• ETL pipeline development
• Data modeling & warehousing
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with big data technologies: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
• Proficient in AWS services like:
• Redshift
• S3
• AWS Glue
• Kinesis/Firehose
• Lambda
• IAM roles and permissions
• Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and reusability best practices
