About the Role

Join Canva’s Revenue Accounting team to design, implement, and manage sales commission frameworks that motivate sales teams and align with business growth. Own the entire commission payout process and collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, and RevOps to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and administer scalable sales compensation plans aligned with Canva’s strategic goals
• Manage end-to-end commission processes: calculation, validation, reporting, and dispute resolution
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations on plan design, scenario modeling, and forecasting
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify compensation processes with technology
• Ensure governance and compliance of compensation plans, audit readiness
• Provide insights and recommendations to Sales leadership on plan performance

Candidate Profile

• Experience in sales compensation, incentive design, or sales operations, preferably in high-growth SaaS or enterprise companies
• Strong analytical and modeling skills; proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and compensation software (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly)
• Track record of building or scaling commission frameworks balancing motivation and financial discipline
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on mindset balancing strategic design with detailed execution
• Bonus: experience with SOX compliance, IPO readiness, or finance/revenue accounting
