About the Role

This HR Generalist will support data center construction projects by leading hiring, compliance, onboarding, and workforce planning. The role combines hands-on recruitment with strategic HR partnership during a high-growth, build-out phase. Ideal for someone with HR experience in real estate, data centers, or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Staffing: Build pipelines for electricians, engineers, and other construction/technical roles
• Workforce Planning: Align hiring plans with construction timelines; manage onboarding & training
• Compliance: Enforce labor laws, site safety, and construction-specific regulations
• Change Management: Communicate project updates & organizational changes
• Performance & Development: Set expectations, coach staff, and identify career development paths

Requirements

• 7+ years HR experience, ideally in construction, data center ops, or real estate
• Proven recruitment & workforce planning experience in non-metro/rural markets
• Strong stakeholder & communication skills
• Solid knowledge of employment law & site compliance
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Willingness to travel 1 week/month
