Role Overview:

Manage a major index options trading book across APAC markets, focusing on high-risk, high-reward directional and volatility strategies. Collaborate with quant researchers and developers to refine models and infrastructure while actively managing risk and exposure. Mentor junior traders and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade APAC index options with conviction using market intuition and quantitative analysis
• Manage real-time risk and exposure, leveraging volatility and macro event insights
• Collaborate to improve trading models and strategies
• Drive growth through new product rollouts and innovations in volatility surfaces
• Lead and mentor junior traders on the desk

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years trading index options or macro volatility products with proven PnL
• Deep knowledge of options pricing, volatility surfaces, and risk/reward scenarios
• Strong decision-making skills under pressure
• Preferred experience with APAC indices (Japan, Hong Kong, Korea)
• Technical proficiency in data analysis and risk modeling
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong intellectual curiosity
