Position: IT Auditor – APAC

Location: Hybrid (Bangkok, Thailand)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess technology and data risks across the organization
• Develop and execute the annual IT audit plan for global and regional units
• Lead and perform audits focused on tech and cybersecurity risks
• Provide subject matter expertise on IT and cyber risk
• Monitor emerging tech risks and regulatory trends
• Engage regularly with IT management to communicate risks and controls
• Draft audit reports and track remediation plans with stakeholders
• Automate audit data processes using Python and write complex SQL queries
• Support audits using data analytics, process automation, and scripting
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely resolution

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technology audit, preferably in financial services or regulated environments
• Strong skills in Python (pandas, numpy, automation) and SQL (complex queries, data analysis)
• Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and system architecture
• Experience in digital forensics or investigations is highly preferred
• Familiarity with frameworks: ISO27001, NIST, COBIT, COSO, SOC2, PCI-DSS
• Ability to apply data-driven auditing and automation
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders (e.g., CISO, CTO, Heads of Departments)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, AWS/GCP) are a plus
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, InfoSec, or a quantitative field preferred
