Position: Senior Financial Accountant / Finance Manager

Location: Remote (Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial policies
• Prepare and analyze reports for both internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate statutory audits and work with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with tax filings and local regulations
• Identify process improvements in financial reporting and controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals
• Monitor financial regulations and ensure ongoing compliance
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial regulations
• Skilled in accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
