Role: Lead, DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid)

Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $97.6K – $200.6K annually

Role Overview:

You’ll be a hands-on technical leader in DevSecOps, driving automation, security, and CI/CD pipeline solutions across multiple projects. The role involves designing resilient, scalable deployment pipelines and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, lean, and efficient engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and maintenance of secure, automated CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps best practices
• Implement deployment strategies like Blue-Green and Canary releases
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams for smooth delivery of secure software
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve automation
• Advocate for modern DevSecOps practices and tools
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and automation
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years hands-on experience with:
• Programming languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript
• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise
• Security automation tools: SonarQube, Fortify, Mend
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Puppet, ARM, CloudFormation
• Cloud-native tools (AWS, monitoring/logging)
• Strong foundation in OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, design patterns
• Understanding of Agile, XP, Lean, SAFe methodologies
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years with cloud-native services (Data Lakes, API Gateways, Managed PaaS)
• Experience with AI/ML and Generative AI
