About the Role

CoinMarketCap is hiring a Revenue Accountant to oversee accurate revenue recognition, support audits, and drive improvements in financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have a Big 4 background, deep knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 15), and exposure to crypto or fintech environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage revenue recognition processes in line with IFRS 15
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and deferred revenue schedules
• Assist in audits and statutory financial reporting
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Ops on contract reviews and accounting implications
• Support system upgrades, automation, and finance-related projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CA, CPA, or ACCA preferred
• 3–6 years of experience (including 2–3 years in a Big 4 firm)
• Strong IFRS knowledge, especially revenue recognition standards
• Skilled in handling large data sets and reconciliations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Crypto/fintech experience is a plus
