Role Overview

This is a high-impact role focused on developing and scaling alternative data feed products (e.g., Clickstream, Mobile/App, Backlinks) for institutional financial clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, and investment banks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and scaling of alternative data products
• Build investment signals using web and behavioral data
• Analyze and backtest data using quant research methods
• Tailor products for systematic and discretionary investment workflows
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, and client success teams
• Write research papers and case studies to drive product adoption
• Identify market gaps and lead product innovation
• Work closely with engineering to optimize data delivery and integration

Requirements

• 5+ years in data science, quant research, or alt data roles in financial markets
• Strong Python, SQL, and data engineering/statistical skills
• Proven success launching data products for institutional investors
• Experience with quant and discretionary investment workflows
• Strong communication skills for technical and business audiences
• Ability to work autonomously and take products from concept to market

Preferred

• Buy-side or alternative data network
• Experience with time-series or transactional datasets
• Prior experience sourcing or evaluating third-party data
• Background in developing research and sales materials for financial clients
