About the Role

We are actively building a leading cryptography organization to solve complex mathematical problems, establish security standards, and advance cryptographic research. We are hiring both junior and senior engineers, as well as researchers specializing in cryptography.

Key Responsibilities

🔐 Define cryptographic principles and best practices for the Aptos blockchain and ecosystem.

📜 Establish cryptographic standards by writing Aptos Improvement Protocols (AIPs).

🛡️ Evaluate cryptographic libraries for safety, efficiency, and performance.

⚡ Design, implement, and audit cryptographic schemes, including:

• Signature schemes
• Authenticated data structures
• Secret sharing
• Distributed pseudo-random functions (DPRFs)
• Zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs)
• 📢 Publish research findings in top cryptography and blockchain conferences.
• 🛠️ Contribute to the Rust blockchain stack, the Move framework, and various SDKs (TypeScript, Python, Rust).
• 🤝 Collaborate closely with engineering, research, and partner teams.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Prior experience in cryptography or security.

✅ Proficiency in Rust, TypeScript (JavaScript), or Python.

✅ Familiarity with smart contracts and blockchain development.

✅ Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

✅ Fluent in English (for communication and collaboration).

💰 Base Salary: $180K - $300K (Bay Area-based candidates, varies by experience).
