🌟 Overview:

• Work on GitHub Copilot extensions for major IDEs like VS Code, JetBrains, Vim, etc.
• Collaborate across teams, including Microsoft’s Developer Division and GitHub Next.
• Focus on delivering seamless Copilot integrations into developer environments.

🛠 Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance Copilot extensions, especially for VS Code and JetBrains.
• Contribute to new IDE plugin development.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, PMs, and design teams.
• Explore new ways to display and interact with Copilot suggestions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in reviews.
• Learn and grow under technical leadership while contributing to team goals.

✅ Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in software engineering (or equivalent degree).
• Proficient in languages like C, C++, Java, C#, Python, Go, Rust, etc.

✨ Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript, Java, Kotlin.
• Interest in AI/ML, IDE tooling, static analysis, or compiler technologies.
• Passion for improving developer productivity and building editor extensions.
