Solidity Engineer (Senior)

About the Senior Solidity Engineer Role

Thesis is looking for a Senior Solidity Engineer to join us in seeding one of our upcoming projects focused on cross-EVM chain Solidity development. This role will involve node/bridge development, building on previous Thesis contributions like Keep’s random beacon, tBTC v1, and tBTC v2 (view the code here: keep-core, tbtc, tbtc-v2). At Thesis, all engineers are problem-solvers, focusing on security, maintainability, and pragmatic solutions. You’ll work with your team to review existing code, identify areas of improvement, and build secure, stable, and scalable software to meet project timelines.

What You’ll Do

• Prioritize security and communicate your approach to maintaining system security.
• Approach problems with caution (Chesterton’s Fence), making minimal changes to existing systems until fully understood.
• Navigate ambiguity with clarity by asking the right questions.
• Document your work and decision-making to encourage meaningful conversations.
• Actively test and identify potential issues before production.
• Focus on the end-user experience across all levels, from command-line parameters to APIs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a senior engineering role or 3 years of successful experience as a full-stack engineer in a high-performance environment.
• Experience with all aspects of what you’ll be doing as outlined above.
• Strong Solidity knowledge, including standard tooling and best practice patterns like Checks-Effects-Interactions.

Ideally, You’ll Have

• Technical familiarity with Evmos or a related ecosystem.
• Technical familiarity with Bitcoin.
• Experience with Solidity audits, ideally conducted by top-tier firms.

Location

This is a remote-first position, but we prefer candidates in Europe or the Americas time zones.
