Role Overview:

Lead GoDaddy’s Certificate Authority (CA) platform strategy and compliance efforts. You will ensure alignment with industry standards (e.g., CAB Forum), guide cryptographic innovation, and manage the CA product roadmap to enhance security, compliance, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent GoDaddy in industry forums like the CA/Browser Forum
• Translate regulatory and industry requirements into product features and roadmaps
• Assess and remediate compliance gaps in the CA infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering, security, legal, and operations teams to maintain CA health and compliance
• Define and monitor key metrics related to system compliance and performance
• Lead prototyping of next-gen cryptographic technologies, including post-quantum cryptography
• Communicate complex technical and regulatory topics to diverse audiences
• Support strategic customer discussions around certificate lifecycle and automation

Required Experience:

• 5+ years in PKI, applied cryptography, or related product management roles
• Strong knowledge of digital certificates, PKI, and certificate lifecycle management
• Familiarity with CA/Browser Forum Baseline Requirements and industry standards
• Experience working with or for a Certificate Authority or security product team
• Ability to convert regulatory requirements into technical and product plans

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to post-quantum cryptography or modern crypto research
• Experience with security audits and compliance (e.g., WebTrust, ETSI)
• Technical degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or Engineering
• Familiarity with ACME protocol, Certificate Transparency logs, OCSP, and certificate automation tools
