🧠 What the Role Involves

You’ll be working in Amazon’s Network Operation Center, which acts as the central command for transportation logistics. Your job is to monitor, resolve, and streamline issues that impact timely shipment and delivery of goods within Amazon's supply chain network.

You’ll be coordinating between carriers, fulfillment centers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth inbound (vendor to FC) and outbound (FC to customer) freight operations.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Resolve transportation exceptions in real-time through investigation, coordination, and decision-making.
• Communicate across internal teams (e.g., retail, FCs, finance) and external stakeholders (e.g., carriers, suppliers).
• Monitor logistics data for patterns and trends, escalating anomalies to appropriate teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Prepare weekly performance reports and narratives for review.

🔍 Day-to-Day Example Tasks

• A carrier hasn’t picked up a scheduled load → You investigate, contact the carrier, adjust the schedule, and document the issue.
• A delivery to a fulfillment center is delayed → You escalate the problem, assess impact on customer orders, and propose mitigations.
• Daily operations show repeat delays from a vendor → You spot this pattern and suggest a new carrier routing solution.

✅ Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1–2 years of work experience (logistics/supply chain/customer service preferred)
• Good communication skills (written + verbal)
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic data handling)
• Strong problem-solving mindset
