About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven analyst for the Falcon Complete team as part of the DoD SkillBridge program. This internship is designed for U.S. military service members within the final 180 days of active duty. As part of this program, you will work in a virtual security operations center, gaining hands-on experience in incident detection, analysis, and response to advanced cyber threats. This is a non-compensated role during the SkillBridge period, but participants continue to receive military benefits and wages.

Responsibilities:

• Perform incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Conduct basic malware analysis to understand threat nature.
• Develop and improve incident detection processes and countermeasures.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal communications for customer management.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in incident response through blog posts, public speaking, and CrowdCasts.

Qualifications:

• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Incident Handling: Experience managing incident response and investigating targeted threats (e.g., APT, Organized Crime).
• Computer Forensics: Proficient in forensic analysis tools for incident investigations.
• Systems Administration: Understanding of system internals and countermeasures execution.
• Network Forensic Analysis: Knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools.
• Malware Analysis: Ability to analyze malware (static and dynamic) to understand attack vectors.
• Incident Remediation: Experience creating tactical and strategic remediation plans.
• Network Operations/Engineering: Strong understanding of secure network architecture.
• Programming/Scripting: Proficient in C, Python, Perl, Ruby, and other languages.
• Requirements:
• Must be an active-duty U.S. service member with more than 180 days left on active duty.
• Available for 90-180 days of SkillBridge participation.
• Must be willing to work onsite with a hybrid remote model after training.
• U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder required.
• Education:
• BA or BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
• Candidates without a degree but with relevant work experience or training will be considered.
