Job Title: Data Analyst, Index (12-month fixed term contract)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and run validation models for indices.
• Perform index reconstitutions using Python and other tools.
• Prepare and distribute index announcements.
• Set up and test new indices and reference rates.
• Test and deploy updates to models.
• Address client inquiries and troubleshoot issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for processes and controls.
• Identify and recommend improvements to processes.
• Review and update index methodologies.
• Collaborate with analysts to ensure tasks are completed.
• Work with engineers on technical requirements and testing releases.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a quantitative developer.
• Strong Excel and Python skills.
• Solid knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
• Experience with time series data and large datasets.
• Understanding of financial markets and derivatives.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with APIs and streaming data is a plus.
