Role Overview:

Join Coinbase's Base Ads team to build Spindl, a decentralized advertising protocol. As the first Machine Learning Engineer on the team, you'll be responsible for developing ranking systems, deploying ML models, and shaping the future of onchain advertising.

Responsibilities:

• Apply ML Methods: Utilize deep learning, LLMs, and graph neural networks for ranking, recommendations, fraud detection, and more.
• Build & Deploy: Develop low-maintenance, scalable ML solutions.
• Democratize ML: Create tools and infrastructure to expand ML use across Base.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in machine learning and software engineering
• Experience in scalable backend systems focused on ML/analytics
• Curiosity about the crypto ecosystem and onchain data

Nice to Haves:

• Degree in CS, ML, or related field
• Familiarity with Airflow, Spark, Python, and ML tools
• Experience in responsible AI and data visualization
