As an Application Security Engineer at Uniswap Labs, you will play a key role in protecting the integrity and security of Uniswap’s cutting-edge decentralized finance ecosystem. You’ll collaborate closely with development teams to enhance the security posture of Uniswap’s products, focusing on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, designing secure solutions, and implementing best practices for cryptographic security.

You will apply your expertise in web and mobile security, cryptography, and authentication protocols to develop scalable, secure systems, ensuring that users and applications remain protected as the platform continues to grow. You will also contribute to the security incident response process and guide the engineering teams on threat mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers to strengthen the security of Uniswap products, addressing security weaknesses and implementing solutions.
• Provide guidance and documentation on security best practices and threats.
• Work with engineering teams to build systems that prevent vulnerabilities at scale.
• Assist with security incident response and contribute to continuous security improvements.

Ideal Background:

• 2+ years of experience in web security, mobile security, or cryptography.
• Strong proficiency in software development and security-focused coding.
• Expertise in authentication protocols and cryptography.
• Excitement about protecting user privacy and ensuring robust security for decentralized applications.
• Previous experience in crypto/DeFi is a plus.
• Technical degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
