Role Overview:

Support cost management for complex data center construction projects, handling budgeting, estimating, procurement, cost control, and reporting to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cost activities across the project lifecycle: budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and final account closeout
• Monitor costs and identify variances with recommendations
• Review and negotiate change orders with proper documentation
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to validate costs
• Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts to stakeholders
• Manage contingency budgets and commitments across project phases
• Support procurement and contractor/vendor contract management
• Contribute to value engineering and cost optimization
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and client requirements
• Help improve internal cost management tools and processes
• Build strong client, contractor, and internal team relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
• 3–6 years relevant experience in cost management or project controls
• Experience with large-scale, mission-critical projects (data centers preferred)
• Construction consultancy experience is a plus
• Skilled in budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and procurement
• RICS accreditation or working towards it is advantageous
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with industry-standard cost management software/tools
