Purpose of the Role:
As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll help our customers navigate the world of digital banking and blockchain technology, offering expert guidance and support. You'll be a vital part of our customer care team, providing efficient resolutions to customer queries and delivering exceptional service that helps to strengthen the Barclays brand and customer trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personalized Customer Interaction: Leverage multiple digital channels to engage with customers, offering customized solutions and addressing customer needs.
- Enhance Digital Capabilities: Identify areas where current technology needs enhancement to better support customer needs, especially in the realms of blockchain and cryptocurrency services.
- Customer Query Resolution: Respond to inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, handling requests and transactions in line with DeFi platforms, Ethereum, NFTs, and other blockchain-related services.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Work alongside internal stakeholders such as sales, risk management, and compliance to meet customer expectations and ensure accurate, timely service delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer care and ensure compliance in every customer interaction.
- Client Relationship Building: Foster lasting relationships with clients, identifying their needs and ensuring ongoing satisfaction with Barclays’ digital products and blockchain solutions.
Analyst Expectations:
- Provide specialized advice to customers, focusing on blockchain technologies, cryptocurrency, and digital banking products.
- Handle specific processes within your team, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Lead and supervise a small team, ensuring high-quality delivery while empowering team members to meet customer needs effectively.
- Continuously assess risks and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with Barclays’ high standards.
- Take ownership of resolving customer issues, making judgements based on experience, and collaborating with related teams to achieve success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in customer-facing roles with a strong passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Understanding of digital banking, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency services, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, and DeFi platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex digital concepts into understandable solutions for customers.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, always seeking opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer issues in a timely manner while ensuring blockchain solutions are integrated effectively into the conversation.
