Role Overview:

Securitize is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant with expertise in digital assets (crypto). This role will be crucial in managing fund accounting operations for digital asset investment funds. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance of these funds, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fund Accounting & Reporting: Manage the accounting of digital asset funds, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and that financial reports are in compliance with industry standards.
• Reconciliation: Oversee the reconciliation of cryptocurrency transactions, including trade settlements, wallets, exchanges, and other digital asset-related activities.
• Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements for crypto funds, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, assist with audits, and prepare the necessary documentation to meet regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including operations and compliance, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in fund accounting or finance roles, preferably with a focus on digital assets or cryptocurrency.
• Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or similar professional certification is a plus.
• Skills:Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and digital assets (cryptocurrencies).
• Experience with accounting software and platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of Crypto Assets: Knowledge of how digital assets are traded, held, and reported for financial purposes.
