Key Responsibilities

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to global data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD)
• Policy Management: Develop, maintain, and update privacy policies and procedures
• Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs): Conduct assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks
• Record of Processing Activities (ROPAs): Maintain and regularly update ROPAs in compliance with regulations
• Data Mapping & Inventory: Track and map personal/sensitive data assets and flows
• Training & Awareness: Deliver employee training programs on privacy best practices
• Incident Tracking: Support data breach/incident response and related compliance procedures
• Project Involvement: Represent Data Governance & Privacy in internal projects

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s in IT, Law, or Business (Master’s preferred)

Certifications (Preferred):

• CIPP/E, CIPM, or similar privacy certifications

Experience:

• 3+ years in Data Privacy and Protection roles
• Hands-on experience with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA
• Experience with policy implementation, PIAs, and compliance processes

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Self-driven with ability to manage tasks independently
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement and workflow evaluation
