Overview of the Role
As the Director, Partner Account Management at Ethoca, a Mastercard company, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the payments landscape. You will lead strategic partnerships, work on revenue growth, and drive adoption of Ethoca solutions across the merchant and issuer ecosystems. You will collaborate closely with our product, customer experience, and technology teams to ensure successful partner launches, leveraging cutting-edge cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies to combat fraud, optimize payments, and elevate customer experiences.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Business Development, you will have the opportunity to work in an innovative environment focused on digital payments and cutting-edge solutions, including the ever-expanding cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue Growth: Deliver against sales and net revenue targets by developing and managing relationships with key merchant partners and identifying opportunities for business expansion in the blockchain and crypto industries.
- Account Planning: Conduct periodic account planning to identify high-value revenue opportunities and develop customized sales strategies for each partner.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with product teams, technology teams, CX teams, and sales teams to ensure successful product adoption and launch post-contract signing.
- Sales and Business Development: Develop and implement sales plans, including business development, marketing, and product management, focused on bringing new solutions to the market, especially in the growing DeFi and NFT sectors.
- Partnership Expansion: Identify new partnership opportunities, driving collaboration between merchants, issuers, and financial institutions to expand Mastercard’s presence in emerging markets.
- Data Analysis: Comfortable analyzing large datasets and translating these insights into commercial proposals, executive presentations, and actionable business strategies using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Adapt Sales Strategies: Tailor generic sales materials to cater to specific prospects or value propositions, particularly for new blockchain-based solutions and cryptocurrency-related products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience selling complex data or SaaS products and managing accounts in the crypto, blockchain, and payments technology space.
- Strong track record of managing complex customer relationships and generating positive revenue outcomes in fast-paced, technology-driven environments.
- Experience in facilitating cross-functional projects, collaborating with engineering, product, and sales teams to ensure smooth delivery of innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with payment technologies, payment fraud prevention, and blockchain integration within digital payment ecosystems.
- Expertise in data analysis and ability to present findings to executive stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate, influence, and build strategic partnerships within the digital payments and cryptocurrency sectors.

- Base Salary: Competitive based on location and experience
