Role Summary:

The Director, People Partners will lead global HR strategies for Udemy’s General & Administrative (G&A) teams. This strategic role partners with executive leaders to drive talent development, organizational effectiveness, engagement, diversity, and performance management. The position also manages a team of People Partners and collaborates cross-functionally to support a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with senior leadership (CMO, CFO, CPO, General Counsel) to align people strategies with business goals
Lead and coach a team of HR Business Partners supporting global G&A functions
Guide organizational change and drive initiatives around engagement, DEI, retention, and development
Analyze workforce data to inform HR decisions and identify trends
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on performance, rewards, talent, and compliance
Foster a trusted, strategic partnership between People and business leaders

Requirements:

8+ years as an HR Business Partner, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Proven experience advising executive-level stakeholders
Strong background in employee relations, change management, and performance coaching
Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and deliver in fast-paced environments
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills
