About the Role:

Etsy is seeking a Site Merchandising Coordinator to join our Global Merchandising Team on a 6-month contract. This exciting opportunity will focus on executing strategic merchandising plans that drive market and category growth, with an emphasis on creating and maintaining localized site experiences for the UK and DE markets. You’ll be responsible for developing engaging landing pages and site programming that enhance the online shopping experience, ensuring content resonates with local shoppers and supports Etsy’s continued success in these regions. Key Responsibilities:

• Localized Site Experience: Develop and maintain localized landing pages and site programming for the UK and DE markets, utilizing Contentful and other CMS tools to enhance the shopping experience.
• Inventory Sourcing: Source relevant inventory for landing pages and promotional campaigns, ensuring content is aligned with local culture, brand priorities, and marketing initiatives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Product, and Engineering to execute seamless and impactful site merchandising strategies that boost engagement and conversions.
• Market Trend Analysis: Analyze market trends, buyer behavior, and sales data to inform the creation of relevant and engaging content for the UK and DE regions.
• Content Localization: Ensure that all localized content is translated accurately and culturally appropriate, reflecting the unique shopping preferences and nuances of the UK and DE markets.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of localized landing pages and recommend data-driven improvements to continuously optimize user experience and conversion rates.
• Promotional Campaigns: Support the execution of promotional campaigns and seasonal events tailored specifically for the UK and DE markets, ensuring impactful and timely content.
• Email & Push Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Email & Push Marketing Team to ensure content cohesion across channels and enhance the shopper’s journey from offsite to onsite.
• Content Calendar Management: Maintain a site update calendar, ensuring that all content is refreshed regularly to keep the site engaging and up-to-date.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Support merchandising-related initiatives as new priorities emerge, driving continuous improvement in the shopping experience.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in site merchandising, e-commerce, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the UK and DE markets, including cultural and shopping preferences.
• Proficiency with CMS tools, especially Contentful.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies for site merchandising.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A self-starter who can work independently, taking initiative to drive results and improve the online shopping experience.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
