Role Overview

Guidewire is seeking a dynamic and strategic Community Manager to lead engagement within our Insurtech Vanguards Program. This role will be the bridge between Guidewire, our customers, partners, and insurtechs, fostering collaboration, engagement, and growth across our ecosystem. You will drive meaningful interactions, curate impactful content, and manage community-driven events, ensuring the Insurtech Vanguards Community thrives and delivers value to its members.


Key Responsibilities

🌍 Community Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Actively engage with community members across social media, forums, quarterly cadence calls, and online platforms.
  • Foster collaboration between Guidewire, insurtechs, customers, and partners to strengthen industry relationships.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance Guidewire’s PartnerConnect program and Marketplace offerings.

📢 Content Creation & Community Growth

  • Develop and curate compelling content to spark conversations and encourage participation.
  • Spearhead initiatives to attract and vet new insurtechs into the program, ensuring valuable contributions to the ecosystem.
  • Utilize engagement metrics to optimize content strategy and enhance community retention and growth.

🎤 Event Planning & Industry Collaboration

  • Plan and execute Global Insurtech Vanguard Pitch Days and key industry events worldwide.
  • Organize virtual and in-person events that foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

📊 Community Feedback & Insights

  • Monitor key community metrics to assess engagement and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Gather feedback from community members to refine strategy and inform business decisions.


What We’re Looking For

Excellent Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Social Media & Online Community Expertise – Proficiency with forums, social media, and digital engagement tools.

Relationship Management – Ability to build trust and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Content Creation & Storytelling – Experience in creating engaging content tailored to a professional audience.

Event Planning Experience – Strong organizational skills to orchestrate successful community events.

Passion for Community Building – A genuine interest in fostering innovation and collaboration.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a Related Field.


✨ Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite for community management.
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
  • Background in customer service or community support.


Compensation & Benefits

💰 Salary Range: $98,000 - $146,000 + Bonus + Equity
