About the Role:
CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced Network Financial Analyst to join the team. In this role, you will focus on managing network costs, performing financial analysis, and optimizing financial operations for CrowdStrike's growing infrastructure. This position requires strong financial analysis skills combined with an intermediate understanding of networking concepts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data management, reporting, and cost-saving initiatives for network services, with a strong background in network financial operations, cost drivers, and capacity planning.
What You’ll Do:
- Budget Analysis: Establish annual/monthly performance targets and analyze budget-to-actual variances.
- Billing & Usage Validation: Ensure accuracy of billing and usage metrics for network services.
- Data Management: Work with data warehousing and data modeling for network financial operations.
- Circuit Lifecycle Tracking: Manage circuit inventory, including expiration dates, costs, and network inventory.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Cost-Saving Initiatives: Lead efforts to identify and implement cost-saving strategies.
What You’ll Need:
- Education: BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related analytical field (e.g., Math, Computer Science).
- Experience: 5+ years of finance/business analysis experience, preferably in a hyperscaler environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Data visualization and reporting expertise.
- Programming and scripting skills.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and pricing models.
- Business Acumen: Solid judgment and ability to communicate key financial insights.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
- Time Management: Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
