About the Role:

Udemy is looking for a Senior Manager, Finance Systems to lead their Finance Systems team. This role focuses on driving the strategy, governance, and optimization of financial systems, particularly NetSuite, while supporting Udemy’s global business growth. The role involves close collaboration with Finance, IT, and Operations to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Finance Systems team, promoting a high-performance and innovative culture.
• Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Udemy’s financial systems, with NetSuite as the primary ERP.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership to streamline processes, improve reporting, and ensure global accounting compliance.
• Drive system design, configuration, integrations, and automation initiatives.
• Act as the liaison between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders for financial system initiatives.
• Oversee system controls, security, and governance to maintain data integrity.
• Evaluate and implement new tools to support Udemy’s evolving business models (subscription, consumption-based, etc.).

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in managing finance/ERP systems teams, especially with NetSuite.
• Proven leadership skills in managing teams and large-scale finance systems projects.
• Strong understanding of financial processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Revenue Recognition).
• Experience with Zuora Revenue (RevPro) or subscription billing/revenue platforms is preferred.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence across Finance, IT, and business teams.
