Job Overview:

Aspire Systems is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with 8+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards to support business intelligence and data visualization needs. This role requires expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modeling to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Create complex DAX calculations and measures to enhance reporting functionality.
• Design and implement data models in Power BI using best practices.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Power BI.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all Power BI reports.
• Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers to optimize data sources and performance.
• Implement role-based security and access control in Power BI.
• Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
• Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M Language).
• Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Experience in integrating Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, etc.).
• Knowledge of Power BI service, gateways, and publishing processes.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of reports and queries.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps for process automation.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
• Experience in enterprise-level BI implementations and reporting solutions.
