Your Purpose: As a Research Analyst at Coin Metrics, you will play a pivotal role in driving understanding and adoption of cryptoassets and blockchain technology. You will dive deep into the rapidly evolving crypto ecosystem, uncovering trends, generating insights, and producing high-quality research that will educate our audience, support our clients, and enhance our data offerings. This role will help shape the narrative around cryptoassets, and your work will contribute to Coin Metrics' reputation as a thought leader in the blockchain and crypto industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Research Efforts: Contribute to various research projects, including weekly newsletters, original research, and sponsored research.
• Topic Identification: Identify and research topics that are of interest to the crypto community and our clients.
• Data Analysis: Explore cryptoasset data, particularly for public blockchain networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum, and identify actionable insights.
• Research Synthesis: Compile research findings into clear and insightful reports and publications.
• Industry Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with industry stakeholders, including blockchain technology experts and DeFi platform participants.
• Social Media Contributions: Share your research insights through Coin Metrics' social media channels.
• Client Consulting: Provide research insights and consult with clients on their research interests.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest developments in the crypto space, including trends in NFTs, smart contracts, and DeFi platforms.

Expertise & Experience:

• Passion for Cryptoassets: A strong interest in the technical and economic value of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
• Research and Data Analysis: Experience conducting research and analyzing data in the blockchain and crypto space.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and dashboard creation.
• Strong Writing Skills: Ability to write clear, concise, and insightful research reports and content.
• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in business, engineering, or another related field is preferred.
• Proactive and Independent: Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines under pressure, and work with minimal supervision.
