Risk Analyst (AIFM)

Position: Risk Analyst (AIFM)

Location: Luxembourg (Hybrid)

Level: Mid-level

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:

Support the Risk Manager in implementing risk management policies for Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFM). Perform risk assessments, monitor compliance and liquidity, prepare reports, and help improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess risk profiles and limits (market, credit, liquidity, operational) for AIFs
• Monitor risk compliance and escalate issues as needed
• Collect and analyze data; prepare risk and liquidity reports, including stress testing
• Support CSSF regulatory reporting and investor communications
• Drive improvements and automation in risk reporting and monitoring
• Assist the Risk Team with daily tasks and ad-hoc projects

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years’ risk experience in fund industry (AIFM, management company, or Big Four)
• Knowledge of Luxembourg fund industry and AIFM regulations
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Fluent in English; French or German is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
