Role Overview

Monitor drug and medical device safety by processing adverse event reports, supporting clinical trials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate across teams to contribute to Pfizer’s mission of empowering safe and effective healthcare decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review adverse drug experience reports to determine product safety profiles and meet regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate case criteria to assign appropriate processing workflows.
• Review, rank, verify, and document case information including seriousness, timelines, and accuracy.
• Write and edit case narratives and manage appropriate case follow-up.
• Verify case data for compliance and accuracy, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Liaise with internal and external partners on safety data collection and reconciliation.
• Maintain expertise on corporate and global regulatory guidelines, SOPs, and database search functions.
• Determine reportability of scheduled safety reports according to regulations.
• Participate in safety-related activities and contribute to achieving project milestones.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Pharmacovigilance and/or data management experience preferred.
• Medical writing skills advantageous.
• Proficient with relational databases and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Life Sciences.
• 1+ years of pharmacovigilance experience preferred.
• Health Care Professional or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Basic problem-solving skills under supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Work Environment

• On-premise work location.
