Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Marketing Analytics team. In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to solve business challenges, develop data models, and drive key marketing strategies. Your insights will inform customer acquisition, retention, and personalization efforts, with a strong focus on the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. You’ll design predictive models, enhance marketing frameworks, and contribute to the expansion of Uniswap’s marketing analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling & Analysis: Partner with business stakeholders to frame marketing challenges and develop data models that inform acquisition, retention, and personalization strategies.
• Predictive Modeling: Design and implement models to track KPIs like Lifetime Value (LTV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and churn.
• Marketing Strategy: Use data-driven insights to guide marketing strategies, budget allocation, and targeting across digital channels with a focus on the DeFi ecosystem.
• Reporting & Tools: Build and maintain essential reporting tools to monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, including attribution models and cohort analysis.
• Advanced Techniques: Expand Uniswap’s marketing analytics capabilities with advanced methods like Media Mix Modeling (MMM), predictive LTV, data-driven attribution, and recommendation systems.
• Collaboration: Work with third-party data sources and in-house AI-powered prediction engines to optimize user acquisition strategies.
• Campaign Impact: Measure and analyze the impact of integrated brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with Uniswap’s long-term goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years in data science or advanced analytics, ideally within B2C industries (tech, blockchain, or fintech environments preferred).
• Expertise: Proven experience in segmentation, predictive modeling, retention strategies, and digital marketing channels, particularly within DeFi and blockchain.
• Advanced Analytics: In-depth experience with Media Mix Modeling (MMM), data-driven attribution, LTV prediction, and recommendation systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Reporting Systems: Experience building and maintaining reporting systems for marketing channels, including paid and social.
• AI Integration: Familiarity with integrating AI-powered tools into marketing strategies.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Passion: A passion for blockchain technology, DeFi, and the broader vision of decentralized finance.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: Minimum full-time salary of $195,750 - $217,000 (dependent on experience).
• Additional Compensation: Eligible for equity, tokens, and other benefits.
