Role Overview
The Senior Manager of Performance Analytics & Insights leads the design, delivery, and management of commercial performance reporting and analytics to support Pfizer’s business strategy. This role partners with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) organization and other key stakeholders to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making at the executive level.
You will be part of the Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) team, a data-driven group focused on turning complex data into meaningful business intelligence impacting patients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, standardize, and optimize Pfizer’s commercial reporting ecosystem.
- Lead strategic initiatives to frame and answer key business questions regarding commercial performance.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards and product performance reports.
- Drive patient and healthcare professional (HCP) insights by creating in-house datasets.
- Translate complex analytics into clear, persuasive narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with global analytics teams to align metrics and reporting standards.
- Leverage novel data sources such as real-world data (RWD) and advanced analytics techniques.
- Manage vendor relationships and offshore resources to ensure delivery excellence.
- Oversee compliance with Corporate SOPs and manage risks in analytic processes.
- Coach and mentor analytics team members to enhance skills and business impact.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in coding languages such as Python, R, SQL.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Expertise in data visualization and dashboard tools including Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, and Looker.
- Familiarity with AI and Generative AI technologies preferred.
- Strong analytical and storytelling abilities to communicate insights effectively.
- Experience in secondary data analytics and innovative data monitoring techniques.
- Ability to assess and manage vendor technical capabilities.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in biopharma, analytics, consulting, or related fields; OR Master’s degree with 5+ years.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering analytics solutions in fast-paced, complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Customer-focused with leadership experience in coaching and guiding teams.
