Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Planner to support project planning and controls for large-scale infrastructure, power, energy, and real estate projects. The role involves program development, schedule analysis, stakeholder coordination, and risk assessment to ensure successful project delivery. The Senior Planner will report to the Project Controls Director and work closely with client representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software (Primavera P6, etc.).
• Analyze and highlight schedule variances against baseline plans.
• Prepare progress reports and contribute to project status updates.
• Provide planning and scheduling advice to project teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate between clients, partners, consultants, and contractors to ensure project timeline compliance.
• Identify and report potential delays, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Support bid teams by preparing necessary planning and scheduling documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project governance and control procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• 5-15 years of post-graduate experience in project planning and controls.
• Experience in the Middle East with a professional consultancy.
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and other planning software.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data effectively.
• Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and risk assessment.
• Industry experience in power, energy, real estate, and infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PSP).
• Membership in professional organizations (e.g., AACEI, RICS, CIOB).
