Position: Senior Tax Research Specialist

Salary Range: $95,000 – $110,000 USD

Key Responsibilities

• Research and interpret tax form updates, codes, and regulations
• Provide tax guidance to software developers
• Test tax return calculations for accuracy and usability
• Develop and maintain documentation
• Support customer inquiries and assist in team projects

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
• CPA or Master’s in Taxation (preferred)

Experience:

• 5–10 years in corporate or pass-through entity tax compliance or tax software development
• Experience with pass-through compliance preferred
• Familiarity with tax software or programming

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Analytical thinking and documentation skills
• Exposure to C#, COBOL, Visual Studio, or Azure DevOps (preferred)
• Ability to learn proprietary software tools
