In this role, you will:
<ul>
 <li>Drive our earned and owned communications strategy to build awareness for the Stellar network and the Stellar ecosystem.</li>
 <li>Translate the complexity of the Stellar network and the scope of our impact into pitches and stories that expand what people think of when they hear “Stellar.”</li>
 <li>Think creatively and outside the box in order to tell the stories happening of the network and its ecosystem partners.</li>
 <li>Develop and maintain relationships with industry press outlets, reporters and influencers</li>
 <li>Draft blogs, press releases, messaging, op-eds and other content.</li>
 <li>Help manage relationships with PR agencies and vendors.,</li>
 <li>Work with SDF marketing team to track impact of events to inform strategies that amplify outreach to target audiences</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
 <li>Experience driving projects internally that result in external communications opportunities</li>
 <li>Experience in media relations, including pitching and building relationships with the press</li>
 <li>Ability to set strategy, drive and execute projects</li>
 <li>Experience managing across teams to drive results</li>

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $130,000 - $170,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
