Role Overview

As a Website Architect - SEO, you will be responsible for evaluating, optimizing, and enhancing the performance of Gate.io’s website infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering, marketing, and product teams to ensure a highly scalable, fast, and SEO-optimized website that serves a global audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Analysis & Optimization:

• Conduct a comprehensive performance audit of the website to identify bottlenecks.
• Optimize server configurations, database performance, and network transmission for speed and efficiency.
• Implement code optimizations to improve front-end and back-end response times.

System Architecture & Optimization:

• Design and optimize a scalable and high-availability website architecture.
• Improve load balancing, caching strategies, and CDN configurations for global users.
• Work with developers to implement SEO-friendly URL structures and site architecture.

SEO Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and execute technical SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
• Optimize page speed, mobile responsiveness, structured data, and indexing.
• Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across the site.

Monitoring & Alerts:

• Establish a real-time performance monitoring system to track website health and SEO performance.
• Set up automated alerts to detect and resolve website performance issues promptly.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and performance optimization techniques.
• Document and maintain best practices, optimization guidelines, and technical SEO strategies.

Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

✔ 5+ years of experience in website architecture, performance optimization, and SEO.

✔ Expertise in front-end performance optimization (e.g., resource compression, lazy loading, caching strategies).

✔ Proficiency in CDN technologies and configuration optimization.

✔ Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTmetrix).

✔ Deep understanding of web protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and network performance optimization.

✔ Strong knowledge of caching techniques, including browser, server, and CDN caching.

✔ Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.

✔ Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud architectures.

✔ Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and fix complex website performance issues.

✔ Excellent project management and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
